Online published on 16 January, 2012. Abstract This present study deals with the distribution of ABO and Rh blood groups among Rajputs(172) and Brahmins(57) of Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh. The phenotypic frequency of blood group B was found to be highest among Rajput and Brahmin population (30.2% and 52.6% respectively), whereas the phenotypic frequency of Rh(D) antigens is high (93.6% and 91.2%, respectively),among both the groups.
