Abstract This research, which is the last in the series of the study on Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC), aims to describe comprehensively the involvement of Filipino adults and youth from selected parishes of Iloilo, where the mechanism of BEC is actively implemented. BEC has been integrated by some parishes in their system to mobilize manpower and enhance people involvement through the grass root level of evangelization, this study endeavors to find out if such involvement contributes to their spiritual growth. Utilizing the Mixed Methods Research Design, the researcher selected the participants on criteria: (1) The individual is actively involved in BEC of his/her parish; (2) He/she must have been involved in the parish for at least one year; (3) After the survey, those recommended by the parish leaders for participation in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) must be proficient in speaking Filipino and/or the native tongue in Iloilo for sharing BEC experiences. The researcher-made instrument was content-validated by an expert in the BEC.Descriptive and inferential statistics was used. Field notes from the three FGDs were content-analyzed. Data showed that there is a significant correlation between years of involvement and spiritual growth of respondents from Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish. This indicates that the longer the years of involvement, the deeper is the spiritual growth. In contrast, there's no significant correlation between years of involvement and spiritual growth of respondents fromthe Parish of San Miguel, the Archangel and the Holy Child Parish.
