Problematique of Corruption with Special Reference to Governance in Developing Countries Singh Arun Kumar Asstt. Abstract Corruption is admittedly a universal phenomenon; no country is free from this menace, though the nature and extent variesfrom region to region, depending upon the social, economic and political system prevailing there. The irony is that corruption has been increasing rapidly with the possage of years and progress of civilization. Almost the entire world is caught in a vicious circle which seems almost impossible to break. The malaise has gone deep, down to the grassroots. The stink is every where; the cancer is widespread. The present paper attempts to analyse the problematique of corruption with special reference to governance in developing countries. The processes like globalization, liberaization &privatization, cases of corruption are appearing moving told.
