Abstract Culture is the central concept of anthropological discourse. Anthropologists from time to time have developed various approaches to understand the dynamics and nature of culture. The study of Diaspora as a culture dynamics is the emerging field of anthropological research. The Diasporic community also faces the problem of ‘identity crises’ and assimilation. They feel as a ‘marginal community’. They also face cultural strains and generation gap problems. Various academic works have been taking place to address the problems and nature of the diasporic communities. This study needs multidisciplinary and integrative approach. An anthropological study, in this sense is very significant as it has its unique methodology, the multidisciplinary approach. The present paper has tried to examine the cultural production, reproduction and dynamism as the emerging field. The paper is based on the secondary data and various other studies conducted to understand the diasporic culture. The paper examines the nature of transnational migration and its social implications. The Diaspora has a very complex nature and it has various integrated aspects which seem to be of great significance to understand the nature and dynamism of culture. The present paper is all about examining this emerging field and its need to disciplinary discourse in order to understand the nature of culture and its change.
