Russia’s economic development after 1991 suggestions for changing industrial policy Akimov AV Abstract While certain sectors of Russian industry declined after 1991 but later revived, some have almost ceased to exist. These include high-tech productions whose output in world markets has become inaccessible to Russia after the introduction of sanctions by the West in 2014. In light of this, this paper analyses existing industrial policy measures and offers certain suggestions for the successful development of all sectors of the Russian economy. Top |
