Potential of Various Re Generation Sources and Micro Grids in India And Comparison of Various Model Patel R.B., Sakariya Hardik Gujarat Power Research & Development Cell, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited Online published on 24 April, 2019. Abstract With the 175 GW of renewable energy generation target enunciated by the Government of India by 2022, it is essential to analyze various models of Renewable Energy Generation and its integration with grid. The target of renewable power includes 100 GW from Solar, 60 GW from wind, 10 GW from bio-power and 5 GW from small hydro power. Also, when seeking at this much huge potential of RE generation, it is very likely to cause diurnal variability into the Indian power grid, if not managed efficiently. It is therefore essential to explore & compare various Renewable energy generation models and micro & mini grids to achieve the target set by GoI. Top Keywords Renewable Engergy Generation, SKY (Surya-shakti Kisan Yojana). Top | |
