Impact of various factors on priority sector advances in India Dr Shabbir Najmi Assistant Professor, Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow Online published on 30 May, 2021. Abstract In this paper, an attempt is being made to analyse the role of certain selected factors on the PSAs. To study the relationship between PSA and these factors a Multiple Regression Analysis has been carried out for the years 2001-02 and 2011-12.The dependent variable is the amount of PSA, whereas the selected independent variables are Net State Domestic (NSDP), Per Capita Income (PCI), percentage of Rural to Total Population (RTP) and Credit Deposit ratio (CDR). The study is cross sectional in nature, and the analysis is done across 31 states of the country for which the data is available.
