An empirical study of the Octapace Culture among the Insurance Companies in Nagpur city

Abstract

In today's challenging Scenario it is tough to retain and perfectly manage the human resource. Building up a healthy HRD Climate with the fittest and finest talent in the Organization is truly the need of the hour. Developing the competencies of the employees in the Organization calls for one of the major components of HRD climate to be prevalent i.e. OCTAPACE Culture. To study the OCTAPACE Culture which is one of the major components of the HRD Climate, a questionnaire survey has been conducted among 50 employees from three selected Private Life Insurance Companies of Nagpur city.Statistical measures like mean, standard deviation have been employed. The study reveals that there is existence of an average degree of the OCTAPACE Culture among the selected Private Life Insurance companies in Nagpur city.
