Abstract Information Technology (IT) industry in India is playing a vital role in putting India on the global map. This industry has become one of the most significant growth catalysts for the Indian economy. The human resource management is very essential in respect of information technology as it is technical in nature and the human touch is involved at every stage. The well motivated and committed manpower is very much indispensable for the success of this industry. Successful organizations support and provide amenities to their people to help them to balance the scales. Organizations are coming up with new and pioneering ideas to improve the quality of work and quality of work life of every individual in the organization. This paper is aimed to find out the impact of enhancing quality of work life towards of employees working in Coimbatore in IT companies. The 130 sample are chosen using convenient sampling technique. Both primary and secondary data is used. Structured questionnaire is framed and data is collected form sample respondents. The collected data is analyzed using simple percentage, average ranking and chi –square. The result shows that there is significant relationship between Gender and Career growth and development, Educational Qualification Vs effective training and Monthly income Vs job Satisfaction with the present job.
