Impact of two year B.Ed. programme as stressor among teacher educators in relation to teaching experience and nature of job Dr. Kamboj Parvinder Kumar Online published on 22 January, 2016. Abstract The objective of this study was to examine the work related stress experienced by the teacher educators in relation to experience and nature of job. The samples for the study comprised of 80 subjects who were obtained from five different colleges of education from Fazilka and Sri MukatsarSahib Districts of Punjab. Survey method was adopted and simple random sampling technique was used to collect the data through self- prepared questionnaire. Data was analysed using 2×2 Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The result showed that: i)teacher educators were under stress due to stressor of introduction of two year B.Ed. programme but do not differ significantly from each other in relation to length of their teaching experience.ii) adhoc teacher educators were facing significantly higher stress than regular teacher educators due to this stressor. iii) the variables teaching experience and nature of job of teacher educators interact significantly with each other.
