Review and Evaluation of The Various Image Fuison Techniques Kaur Sukhjeet, Kaur A.P Sukhpreet Computer Science and Engineering, Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Tangori, Mohali Online published on 22 January, 2016. Abstract Image fusion is a visual technique which is used for combining high spatial resolution panchromatic pictures with lower spatial resolution multispectral pictures to make a high spatial resolution multispectral of image fusion while saving the spectral data in the multispectral picture. The goal of Image fusion is to consolidate the data of the number of pictures of the same scene from diverse sensors or the pictures while concentrating on distinctive items. The consequence of image fusion is a picture which is more enlightening and of better quality. This Image fusion is thinking that its application in all circles of life. In this paper a basic methodology to a portion of the image fusion techniques has been taken. This paper presents the characteristics and research background of image fusion techniques. Furthermore shows an limitations of image fusion algorithms. This paper ends up with the suitable solution to overcome the issues with available techniques. Top Keywords Image Fusion, PCA, DCT, DWT.
