Working population in different types of units shows their involvement in production which is dependent upon the level of the employment and vice-versa. The working force, dependency of population, employment or unemployment situation is basically determined by occupational structure. Occupation stands for trade or profession resulting into the nature of the economic progress of the area. It is related to agriculture, industry or service sector. These are the areas where the skill, efficiency and power of human resource can be utilized effectively under certain circumstances. Present paper attempts to analyze the status of human resource utilization in the region.
