Abstract Today, ULIPs have become a very important avenue for investment along with life coverage. Unethical selling of ULIPs may adversely affect the financial planning of investors to a great extent. This research focuses on ethical issues involved in selling of unit linked insurance plans by life insurance advisors, and to find out whether ethics are being complied with by life insurance advisors while selling unit linked insurance plans. So, purpose of this article is to study ethical compliance in selling of ULIPs by life insurance agents, and to find the extent to which unethical means are being adopted in selling of ULIPs.
