Abstract

A brilliant strategy may bring a company in a competitive frame and increases its performance but most companies are failed at the stage of strategy execution. (Blahova and Knapkova, 2011) Time gap between strategy formulation and strategy implementation invites many variables to affect the various stages of strategy execution process. Some of these variables are controllable some are not. To eliminate or deduct the effect of variables the organization's members should be attentive and competent. Managers need to consider multiple aspects, as there are multiple relations and connections between factors causing challenges. If one factor is ignored unpredictable causes for other component might occur. None of the factors should be seen in isolation, strategy implementation is a complex, dynamic and changing task for organizations. (Brinkschröder, 2014) Management control is the process by which managers influence other members of the organization to implement the organization's strategies (Anthony and Govindrajan, 2004). This paper aims to analyze the role of MCS in strategy implementation process.
