E.mail: bhardwajccsu@gmail.com Online published on 4 June, 2019. Abstract Assessment or Evaluation has a prominent role to play in everyone's life. It can be considered as a process of collecting data for the purpose of taking decisions about individuals and groups and this decision-making role is the reason that assessment touches many people's lives. People react seriously, when test scores are used to make interpersonal comparisons. It was found in the present study that There is no significant correlation found between External and Internal marks of theory papers evaluation, External and Internal marks of viva-voce evaluation and Total External marks (theory and viva-voce) evaluation and Total Internal marks (theory and vivavoce). Therefore internal assessment should be used as a feedback device and external assessment should be used for providing grades which must be correlated for making the final assessment.
