A study on public and private sector banks on digital usages

Abstract

Banking is to be consider as pure financial service industry and responsible for the economic development of an economy up to great extent. In India, Public and Private Banks are rending financial service. The policies and strategies of Public and Private Banks are different that leads variation in the transactions. This paper tries to measure the usage of amount transactions level of top ten Public and Private Banks in India. This research is based on Secondary data obtain from statists of Public and Private Banks in India.

The objective of the research is to analyse the customer usage of ATM, POS, DEBIT and CREDIT cards in Public and Private sector Banks, and compare the customer usage in Public and Private sector Banks. For analysis the tools used growth rate, percentage analysis, and ranking method for Public and Private sector Banks. The conclusion would be interpreted accordingly.
