Abstract This research paper is an attempt to find out the nature and degree of relationship of burnout (component wise and burnout-total) with emotional competence of teachers. In this study data was collected from 300 teachers using Burnout Inventory for Teachers and Emotional Competence Inventory for Teachers. Finally the data was analysed by statistical method-Pearson's Product Moment Coefficient of Correlation for the total sample.
