Abstract BRICS are the fast growing emerging economies and have become most favoured destination for the foreign investors. Present paper studies and compares FDI net inflows, FDI growth and GDP growth in these countries since 2001. A comparison is also made of their position on various investments related indices. FDIs trends and prospects are strong and positive for Brazil, China and India as also their performance on economic indices. GDP growth in China and India is significantly higher than the rest. Paper also investigates correlation of GDP growth with FDI inflows and FDI growth for these countries. GDP growth is positively correlated to FDI inflows and FDI growth.
