Abstract In this digital age the frequency of Virtual Workplaces has been rising rapidly, but there is uncertainty and skepticism over the effectiveness of this practice, highlighted by phrases like ‘shirking from home’. The present investigation is an attempt to explore the nature of Organizational management in Online Workplace environment in contemporary world scenario. The study is in descriptive in nature. The data was collected from Entrepreneurs, Managers, Human Resource (H-R) Professionals, Mental Health Professionals, and Employees belonging to different Online Business field and sector from Kuwait and Kerala. Purposive sampling method was used for the selection of participants. Findings of the study confines that a virtual workforce can require a great departure from the usual way of doing occupation; changes in management style, organization culture, and the basic way a job is performed are all affected. A comprehensive change management plan can help to ensure the long-term adoption of a successful virtual work program. Virtual work programs without a well-defined communication plan often struggle with internal communication, organizational cohesion and Wellbeing. This can lead to issues of trust, accountability and productivity. Communication and change management plans work hand-in-hand to cement virtual work in an organizational culture. Online employees have a hard time drawing lines between family and work commitments as they are physically in the same place and it must focus on help them drawing clear boundaries between their work and personal life.
