Toxicity of monocrotophos on mortality and behavior of freshwater fish, Nemacheilus botia Vasait J.D. Department of Zoology, M.G.V's, M.S.G. Arts, Science and Commerce College, Malegaon camp, Dist Nashik (M.S.) Online published on 1 May, 2020. Abstract Toxicity of Monocrotophos on mortality and behavior of Nemacheilus botia has been studied. The LC50 value was found to be 38.2 mg/lit. for 7 days of exposures. The result indicated that the mortality of fish due to Monocrotophos was dose-time dependent. Alteration in behavioral response was also observed due to the exposure of fish to Monocrotophos.
