Publication Ethics and Malpractice:


As per the ethical policies of Bioinfolet:

The Editor will responsible for maintaining balanced and fair activities while working for publication of the Journal. He is bound to handle all papers in a similar way and publish them solely on their academic merit. In case of any ethical complaints or conflict, the Editor board may take proper action. Furthermore, the Editor will have privilege to reject the manuscript, in order to protect the ethics of the Journal.

The Reviewers will critically evaluate each manuscript and suggest their suitability for publication in Bioinfolet. He may suggest revision of the manuscript, in order to upgrade the quality of paper. If the information in manuscript appears substandard, fake or manipulated, the reviewer may suggest the Editor, not to publish the paper. The reviewer will take care of confidentiality of the contents in the papers, received for publication, and as far as possible will not retain the manuscript with him, once it has been reviewed. He will assist Editor, in maintaining standard of the Journal by careful screening of papers

The Authors are expected to record, maintain, process, statistically analyse the data before including it in the manuscript. The data should be made accessible, for which, it will have to be deposited in suitable repository. If the author is reporting new genera / species, he will have to deposit the specimen in relevant Institute / herbarium. The author should submit, along with the manuscript, an undertaking stating that the results presented by him are original, which have been included in the paper in consultation with co-authors (if any) and the paper has not been presented elsewhere for publication. The author must seek permission from the Institution, wherein he has completed research work, to publish the paper; and as far as possible he should submit his paper through his employer. If the data submitted by the author has been obtained through clinical trials with either humans or animals, he should have been obtained an approval from proper authorities. The author should revise, re-edit or re-draft the paper as suggested by the referee, if required. While drafting the manuscript, the author has to be careful enough, to avoid any conspiracy or allegation.

The Publisher is expected to maintain fair practices to ensure high standard of the journal. Members of the Editorial Board will assist publisher in providing thoroughly screened, standard, original, useful and recent information in the form of research papers. He should confirm that the title, authors name, Institutional address, key words, text and references presented by the author are as per the format of Journal. The publisher will be further responsible to frame the contents and design cover page properly along with ISSN number. He should also display the editorial board, RNI Number and mention abstracting agencies, wherein the papers will be abstracted. The publisher will be responsible to arrange them in a specific sequence and hand it over to the printer, for printing. Furthermore, the publisher will not allow the publication of the Journal to be known as predatory activity.

Misconduct and Unethical Behaviour may be brought to the attention of the Editor and Publisher at any time, by anyone, along with sufficient information and evidence. The Editor will sort out allegations as early as possible

The Editor will hold copyright of the research papers published in Bioinfolet. However, as far as subject matter and the findings are concerned, the author will have full privilege to use the knowledge for his benefit, in consultation with the Editor.

The outcome of above ethical policies will maintain standard as well as credibility of the Journal, as well as the authors publishing papers therein

Bioinfolet will be published regularly and in time, as prescribed by the Editor.

Peer Review Policy


All research papers published in BIOINFOLET are subjected to peer review processes based on initial editor screening and refereeing by referee. The aim of peer review is to maintain quality of research work.

Manuscripts are received online by the editorial office with an understanding that it has not been sent for consideration in any other journal.

Manuscripts are checked by the Editor for its style, pattern and plagiarism.

If the manuscript is found fit at the Editorial level, the advisory board suggests name of the referee for reviewing the article.

Editorial Office sends the research paper for reviewing to the reviewer.

The Comments received from the referee will be sent to corresponding author without disclosing the identity of the reviewer, to follow the comments and re-submission of Revised manuscript.

Revised MS is thoroughly checked by the Editorial office to confirm whether paper has been revised as per the referee's comments.

The decision of the Editor is communicated to authors.

The practice of peer reviewing is to confirm that good research will get published in BIOINFOLET. Reviewers of BIOINFOLET therefore play an important role in maintaining high standard of the journal ( BIOINFOLET ) and all manuscripts are peer reviewed following the procedure outlined above.


Manuscript Evaluation

The Editor will evaluate all manuscripts. Those rejected at this stage will be kept outside the publication of journal. Those that meet the minimum criteria will be passed on to experts for review.

Authors of rejected manuscripts will be informed within 2 weeks.


Type of Peer Review

BIOINFOLET publish papers only after reviewing, wherein the reviewer will remain anonymous to the authors throughout the process.


Selection of Reviewer

Reviewers are those, who have contributed sufficiently n the subject matter of the paper. Our reviewers list contains reviewer contact details (Telephone number, mobile number, e-mail i. d. and complete address along with Bio-data) along with their subject areas of interest.


Reviewer Reports

(1) Be accepted

(2 ) Be revised as per the comments

(3) Be rejected


How Long Does the Peer Review Process Take?

Typically the manuscript will be reviewed within 2-8 weeks.


Final Report

A final decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be sent to the author along with comments made by the reviewers. Chief Editor's Decision is final.


Special Issues / Conference Proceedings

The papers received for special issues will be processed as above
