Abstract Correlation studies in pomegranate indicated that number of total floral bud per plant and solitory and clustered floral buds were positively correlated with almost all the characters. Size of floral bud was positively but non-significantly associated with most of the parameters. Number of opened flowers and flowers dropped, were positively associated with fruit set, fruit dropped, fruit retained and size of fruit. Association of days taken to anthesis was found negative and non-significant with all the characters studied. Top Keywords Pomegranate, flower, fruit, yield, correlation. Top |
