Abstract A study was conducted during the year 2003–04 to findout the effect of foliar application of micro-nutrients and thiourea on vegetative growth, fruit yield and quality of aonla cv. Narendra Aonla-S. The experiment was carried out in RBO with eight treatments consisting different concentrations of ZnS04, Borax and Thiourea which were replicated four times, considering one plant as a unit. On the basis of present findings, it can be concluded that maximum vegetative growth (plant height, girth and spread), fruit retention, yield, size, weight and volume of fruits were obtained with foliar application of ZnS04 (0.5%) + Thiourea (0.1%), closely followed by Borax (0.25%) + Thiourea (0.1%). Top Key words Micronutrients, thiourea, aonla, fruit yield and quality. Top |
