Abstract Cross Border Trade may be perceived as a flow of goods and services across international land borders within an easy reach of up to 30 kilometers. Perhaps, the centrality of the Arunachal Pradesh and its strategic location supports its growing economic links with neighboring countries like-Bhutan, China and Myanmar. Also, this locational advantage hold lot of promises to upscale India’ trade ties with even ASEAN and SAARC nations. Arunachal Pradesh in India has been maintaining cross border trade relation with Myanmar and Bhutan that is purely informal in nature. However, trading relation of Arunachal with China has almost stopped after Indo-China War 1962, due to lack of political initiatives, understanding, confidence and clarification. Definitely, Arunachal is sure to see brighter days in the sphere of cross border trading endeavours in near future as she has enormous potentials among eight sisters’ states of the northeastern India. This paper makes an attempt to analyse major items under the purview of cross border trade between Arunachal Pradesh and China; Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan and; Arunachal Pradesh and Myanmar respectively.
