Online published on 11 June, 2014. Abstract Hafiz is one of the greatest Persian poets whose dignity in poetry and greatness in Mysticism is admitted by everyone. He has widely used Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Hadith and Narration in most of his passionate sonnets which can be considered as a mystery of his poetry survival. Although Hāfez is said to have known by heart the Quran verses, surely it can be found through observing narrations included in his sonnets that he has become popular as Hafiz due to memorizing numerous Hadiths. And this is one of Hafiz's secrets of success as well as his poetry survival. The present study has been carried out by examining Hadith manifestation in Hafiz poetry (sonnet 5) and based on Late Qazvini and QasemQani version (1996).
