Abstract

Gibberellafujikluroi (GF-52) was grown in Richard's broth medium at four different pH levels ranging from 4.0 to 7.0, three different lights i.e. normal to dark conditions and three different incubations periods i.e. 9–12 days. Excellent sporulation was observed at 30°C and pH 5.0. Fungal biomass production was maximum at 4th day of incubation. The optimum pH for GA3 production was found 5.0, normal light conditions (60 W bulb) produced highest GA3 production (0.57 g/l) and 9 days of incubation period was found suitable for GA3 production.
