Abstract

The data showed the significant reduction in egg hatching and larval penetration in all the cases with increase in exposure period. The observation indicated highest reduction in hatching (220.25) in neem ethanol leaf extract @ 5.0% treatment followed by leaf extract @ 5.0%, 2.0%, achook @ 7.5%, 5.0%, leaf compost @ 7.5%, 5.0% and neem cake @ 7.5%, 5.0% i.e. 233.00, 236.50, 268.25, 275.25, 291.75, 436.50, 441.75, 445.50 and 454.50, respectively in descending order over control at 12 hrs exposure period. After 24 hrs of incubation period the hatching was observed 270.00, 233.00, 236.50, 268.25, 275.25, 291.75, 436.50, 441.75, 445.50 and 454.50 after 48 hrs of incubation period was hatching was observed 330.50, 349.25, 351.25, 378.00, 385.00, 396.25, 315.75, 328.00, 336.00 and 347.50 after 72 hrs of incubation period was hatching was observed 391.75, 397.50, 406.00, 419.75, 424.75, 431.50, 280.25, 294.25, 301.25 and 312.75 in ethanol leaf extract @ 5.0%, 2.0%, leaf extract @ 5.0%, 2.0%, achook @ 7.5%, 5.0%, leaf compost @ 7.5%, 5.0%, neem cake @ 7.5% and 5.0% treatment, respectively. At all the four incubation period i.e.12, 24, 48 and 72 hrs the hatching inhibiting was of greater instance which recorded as the period was increased. Similar trends were also observed larval penetration in all the treatments at all exposure periods.
