Online published on 9 August, 2019. Abstract In the present study the pathogenicity of the fungus under in vitro conditions was conducted on second instar larvae of Helicoverpa armigera to study the effect of spore suspension of Metarhizium anisopliae. In vitro, the spore suspension (Direct spray method) at 1.0×108 spore/ml recorded highest mortality (76.6%) after ten days of spraying spore suspension on the body of H. armigera. The lower concentration resulted in lesser mortality. Top Keywords Helicoverpa armigera, Metarhizium anisopliae, Pathogenic behaviour. Top |
