Survey of storage pests of Seed Spices in Rajasthan Kant Krishna, Lal Gopal, Meena Siya Ram ICAR-National Research Centre on Seed Spices, Tabiji-305 206, Ajmer (Rajasthan), India, kknrcss@gmail.com Online published on 12 December, 2019. Abstract The samples collected from different places of government ware house, traders godown as well as from the farmers stores showed that cigarette beetle (Lasioderma serricorne) was major pest found infesting maximum seed spice crops at storage. In cumin, seed damage due to cigarette beetle was recorded 35.0% in more than one year old seed. Other storage pests recorded were drug store beetle (Stegobium panicum) seed wasp (Systole albipennis) red rust flour beetle (Tribolium castenium) warehouse beetle (Trogoderma spp.).
