Abstract

The data revealed that the population of leafhopper ranged from 8.22 to 15.24 leafhopper/three leaves. The maximum leafhopper population was recorded in genotype MH-421 (15.24 leafhopper/three leaves) followed by IPM-2-14 (14.63 leafhopper/three leaves) and SML-668 (14.52 leafhopper/three leaves) and minimum (8.22 leafhopper/three leaves) in genotype GM-6. However, the population of whitefly was ranged between 6.61 to 11.48 whitefly/three leaves. The maximum whitefly population was recorded in genotype MH-2-15 (11.48 whitefly/three leaves), followed by IPM-2-14 (11.24 whitefly/three leaves) and minimum (6.61 whitefly/three leaves) in genotype GM-6. The population of thrips ranged from 2.81 to 7.96 thrips/three leaves. The maximum population of thrips was recorded in genotype maximum SML-668 (7.96 thrips/three leaves) followed by IPM-2-14 (7.48 thrips/three leaves).
