Christopher Department of Agronomy Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore-611 003, India Abstract Field experiment conducted from 1994 to 1996 on different weed management practices in soybean revealed that at early stages, weed control efficiency (WCE) was higher with alachlor 1.0 kg ha−1 followed by pendimethaUn 0.75 kg ha−1.
