Abstract The three dimensional computed reconstruction of CT scans provide maxillofacial surgeons with an exciting interactive display of clinical anatomy. The 3-D CT reconstruction of complex maxillofacial anatomic parts permits preoperative analysis and surgical planning. The three dimensional computed tomography permits a clear perception of the extent of fracture comminution and resulting displaced fragments.3-D CT produces the high quality three dimensional images that can be used for diagnostic imaging and treatment planning of trauma.
