E mail: gitakalra79@yahoo.co.in Abstract Hypersensitivity reactions to the commonly used denture base resins are infrequently reported. Most acrylic hypersensitivity reactions are local contact reactions with few, presenting any significant systemic symptoms. Candida associated denture-induced stomatitis; burning mouth syndrome and simple denture induced physical trauma are all conditions which can be mistaken for an acrylic hypersensitivity reaction. Awareness of this disease complex in terms of any new symptoms and potential exposure is paramount for dental personnel. Top Keywords Acrylic hypersensitivity, Allergic reaction, Contact dermatitis.
