Online published on 7 December, 2011. Abstract Gingival recession is a complex phenomenon that may present numerous therapeutic challenges to the clinician. Over the years gingival recession has been treated by a number of surgical techniques. Recently, use of growth factors has been proposed in combination with surgical techniques. This article highlights on a case report in which autologous suspension of growth factors, Platelet rich fibrin membrane along with laterally positioned flap has been used for root coverage in Miller class-ll recession defect in mandibular anterior area.
