Abstract

Commissural lip pits are epithelial lined small pits or openings of 1–8 mm depth, found in the commissure of the mouth unilaterally or bilaterally. These pits may communicate with parotid duct and be a channel for infection. Therefore, routine oral examination of such pits is mandatory. This article presents a case of unilateral commissural lip pit at the left angle of the mouth.
