"Multiple compound odontomas in the anterior maxilla - A case report"

Abstract

Odontomas are the most common odontogenic tumors which are asymptomatic. Compound odontomas consists of a varying number of teeth like structures and histology shows dental tissues in an orderly pattern. This is a case report of a multiple compound odontomas in a 15 year old female patient, which resulted in failure of eruption of permanent upper left central incisor while contra lateral tooth has erupted. Clinical, radiological and histopathological characteristics of this lesion will be discussed along with the management.
