Online published on 28 May, 2014. Abstract A rewarding area of Prosthodontics is the rehabilitation of patients with acquired defects as in the post resection palatal defects. The weight of the maxillary obturator is often a dislodging factor. Hence, light weight obturator is required for better retention. This article describes a case report of a partially dentulous patient successfully rehabilitated with a closed hollow bulb obturator fabricated in a simplified method.
