Abstract

Acrostichium and Salvinia samples were collected from the brackish water of Kerala and screened for the presence of marine fungi. Seven marine fungi were isolated from Ascotichum and 5 from Salvinia. Four species were common to both hosts. Salvinia is a new host record for all fungi isolated from it.
