Online Published on 18 December, 2023. Abstract Chili leaf curl is a viral disease which spreads by a vector- whitefly. Upward curling of leaves, yellow veins and yellow mosaic are common symptoms of this disease. The Chili leaf curl disease (LCD). is found all over India.. Previous screening studies were, limited to small locations and it was not possible to conclude resistance or susceptibility of the same accession at various locations. To overcome this situation present study was undertaken under open field screening of segregating germplasm of Capsicum annuum against LCD, at geographically diverged diverse regions of India.
