Bioremediation of Fog Contaminated Wastewater by a Lipolytic Bacterial Consortium

Abstract

The lipolytic bacterial consortium was prepared using Staphylococcus petrasii subsp. jettensis VSJK R1 and Staphylococcus epidermidis VSJK R5, and evaluated for bioremediation of FOG contaminated wastewater. The consortium was effective in reducing the FOG and BOD values.
