The results indicated changes in behavior of the fish, such as irregular, abrupt, erratic, jerking and darting movements, imbalanced swimming activity and fanning after 12 hours of exposure Changes in protein, cholesterol and lipid contents were also observed in the treated fish, depending on time of exposure and concentration of the pesticide.
