Abstract This research comprises reports of the chromosome counts for 230 taxa of the Nepalese flora within the 7 families viz. Crassulaceae, Cyperaceae, Ranunculaceae, Rubiaceae, Saxifragaceae, Scrophulariaceae and Solanaceae. Present chromosome counts for 19 taxa of Ranunculaceae are also included here.
