Online published on 8 March, 2018. Abstract Culturing of sensitive isolate (Pz-1) of Phyllosticta zingiberi Ramkr. on carbendazim, continuously for eight successive passages significantly increased the carbendazim resistance both in vitro and in vivo. Use of carbendazim alternately with Alitte, Bordeaux mixture, Dhanuka and Kocide reduced caebendazim resistance. In in vitro condition, use of carbendazim alternately with dhanuka, alitte inhibited growth of the pathogen at second passage and in case of Bordeaux mixture and kocide at third passage. Use of carbendazim alternately with dhanuka, alitte and Bordeaux mixture inhibited growth of the pathogen at second passage and in case of kocide at third passage in in vivo condition.
