Coarse grained soil is found near highlands and residual hills where as fine grained soil lies in piedmont areas and near the banks of rivers. Automorphic, red, yellow, brown, black, alluvial and laterite are the soils of region. The colour and chemical properties of soil depends on the parental rocks.
