Abstract We report the case of 28 year old male patient who suffered quadriceps rupture following manipulation of the stiff knee. We treated the patient with V-Y plasty procedure which is an uncommon procedure with successful results. The final range of motion was 90 degrees with 10 degrees of extensor lag.
