Effect of Chronic Irradiation on Bread Wheat

Summary

Acute and chronic gamma irradiations produced more or less the same type of mutations in bread wheat (N.P. 868) but the mutation frequency was considerably higher (49 per cent.) in chronic irradiated plants (10.7 kr.) as compared to acute treatment with 30 kr.
