The companies’ act 2013 made a statutory to all the companies to contribute certain proportion of their profits after tax to protect the stake holders and environment. Utilization of CSR budget covers to wide area beyond the business. Funds under CSR may uses by companies to eradicating poverty, promotion of education, engulfing gender inequality and empowering women, skill development program in rural areas, and for encouraging social entrepreneurship. Out of total CSR budget every company is require to maintain 5% of CSR budget for contingency fund to prime minister or chief minister relief fund. The area of CSR fundutilization decision makes by the executes of the companies and finally it's approved by board of directors. A Good corporate social responsibility policy reflects sound business management and improves fair relationship with stakeholders of companies. In this paper we are focusing how the Indian companies list in the fortune 500 are Building their corporate social responsibility strategies and implementing them.
