The Impact of Organizational Learning Capability on The Innovativeness of Small and Medium Enterprises Imhanrenialena Ogbemudia Benedict1, Sinclair OgbaChimezie2 1Department of Management, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Nigeria 2Department of Management, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Nigeria Abstract The study investigated the effect of organizational learning capability on the innovativeness of Small and Medium Enterprises with special focus on the SMEs that are members of Enugu chamber of commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA). A total of 87 employees from fourof the Small and Medium Enterprises participated in the study. The formulated hypotheses were test with simple linear regression analysis. The findings show that there is a strong relationship between knowledge sharing and Small and Medium Enterprises innovation. Secondly, that there is strong relationship between openness and product innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises. Thirdly, that dialogue significantly relates to process innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises. It is therefore concluded that organizational learning capability exerts great positive effects on Small and Medium Enterprises innovativeness. Therefore, SMEs in emerging economies like Nigeria must encourage knowledge sharing, openness and dialogue to improve innovativeness. Top | | | |
