Effect of hatha yoga and aerobic dance practice on vital capacity of adolescent boys Dr. Mitra Sanjoy A. T, Rabindra Yidyapith High School, Santipm, Nadia, W.B Online published on 15 April, 2019. Abstract Yoga is an ancient Indian Philosophy. The purpose ofthe study was to evaluate acute physiological response, to find out the changes ifany in Vital Capacity, following the Yoga and aerobic dance practices. The total subjects were 120 divided into four groups and their age ranges from 12–16 years. The duration of total practice periodwere 6 weeks (3 days in a week/or 30 minutes). Pre test and post test data were analyzed by paired ‘t ’test method. For obtaining the significant differences ANCOVA method was adopted. (Garrell, 1981).
