The slums continue to mushroom despite all legal frameworks put in place. They suffer human insecurities not limited to political, economic, socio and environmental among others 2Jimmy Alemiga is a lecturer of international relations and diplomatic studies in the faculty of socio-economic sciences at Cavendish University, Uganda since 2011. He also previously work for the Uganda Media Center (Office of the President (Public Affairs-Radio) from 2011–2012.
